There was a time when nearly everyone in the SEO business would unanimously vote The Best Spinner as their most preferred article spinner. Even though The Best Spinner did the job quite nicely, the reason for this verdict was that there weren’t a lot of article spinning software out there to compare The Best Spinner with. However, in the past couple of years, there has been a burst of article spinning software on the market and some of them have certainly given The Best Spinner a run for it’s money. In the recent past, I’ve tried my hands on a few of these article spinners and I have created a comparison chart showing the pros and cons of each of these. The article spinners which I’ve compared in this chart are:
1. The Best Spinner
2. Chimp Rewriter (formerly known as SpinChimp)
3. Spin Rewriter
4. Spinner Chief
Article spinning has been around for a while now. And even though it has the ability to generate hundreds of unique articles with a very minimal amount of effort, the process of manual spinning starts to feel a bit tedious after a while. Additionally, most article spinners out there have rather disappointing auto-spin features, and most of the spins that are generated from the auto-spin feature of these spinners are of poor readability and grammatically flawed. However, Spin Rewriter has been trying to change all that and has been somewhat successful. In my latest tutorial, I demonstrate the capabilities of Spin Rewriter 4.0 – which, with a few tweaks can generate good quality and highly unique auto generated spins in a very short span of time.
In the previous post, we had seen the importance of article spinning with regards to SEO. Here, let’s compare the differences between automatic and manual article spinning and see which one is better.
First of all, what is automatic spinning? Automatic spinning is when you write down an article and let your article spinner do all of the spinning on its own – with minimal (and sometimes even no) manual intervention. Essentially, you paste the article in the text editor of your article spinner, make a few settings and allow the article spinner to automatically generate unique articles for you! Sounds quick and painless, doesn’t it? It’s like clicking a button and voila! We have our unique articles ready to be posted for getting tons of quality backlinks!
Well, unfortunately, it’s not that simple. The articles which come off of the article spinner are almost always (in fact always) of bad quality. If you go through the article, you’ll realize that a lot of the sentences are grammatically flawed and are meaningless.
Consider an example:
Automatically spun version:
As you can see from the above example, the auto generated spin has poor readability.
Now, what happens when I insert a link to my website in the above text and post it on an article submission directory? Well, Google’s highly complex search algorithm determines that the quality of the article I have posted is poor. Moreover, when the Google bots crawl the web, they pick up similar quality articles from all those directories to which I have posted such poor quality spins. In time (which in the world of the internet means a few days), Google determines that the quality of your content is not good and consequently tends to place you lower in the search rankings, giving your website minimal visibility!
That being said, it does not mean that automatic spinning is all bad. You can perform a few tweaks and put in a little manual effort to highly improve the quality of your spins. In the upcoming post, I shall show you step-by-step how to automatically spin articles and also how you can improve the quality of auto-spun articles using a few tricks.
The field of SEO has really diversified over the past few years from simple on-page SEO techniques and building link farms. Google’s (and other leading search engines’) primary objective has always been to display search results which are meaningful for the searcher. As a result, the search algorithms of these search engines have evolved over the years to display more accurate websites and not just sites which have been stuffed with keywords and have paid backlinks from link farms. More holistic metrics, such as the Page Rank are now factored in. Consequently, as the search engines become more complex in their quest to provide more meaningful results, the field of SEO also has to keep up. You can no longer expect to put out meaningless content out there with links pointing back to your websites and blogs and expect to rank on the first page of a Google search. In fact, you could have thousands of backlinks pointing to your website with garbled content and appear nowhere in the search results (Yes! Google now penalizes you for putting out bad content on the web). It is now imperative for you to put out meaningful content on the web if you want your website to appear on the first few pages of Google search results thereby driving more and more traffic.
However, it seems a very laborious task to write hundreds, if not thousands of quality articles manually for submission to article directories and blogs to get quality backlinks. Thankfully, to cope with this issue, a technique known as article spinning can be employed. Article spinning, if done in the correct manner, can generate several good quality articles with high readability. The spun articles can then be put on sites such as article submission directories, web 2.0 sites, blogs etc. to give more backlinks to your website, thereby improving your website’s rankings.
You might be thinking at this point – why go through all the fuss of article spinning. Why not just write one quality article and then put them up on several websites for backlinks. Well, the reason is that duplicate content is severely penalized by search engines on the web. Any time two or more websites have the same content posted, the search engine will ignore or even negatively factor in the duplicate content while calculating the rank of the URL for its organic search results. Therefore, content posted must be unique and this is where article spinning comes in handy!
